2015 RC Crawling Worlds- Las Vegas Sept 11, 12, 13th

Took me 5 tries (two online, two different agents on the phone, and once more online) but finally got flights booked, %uckers aren't getting any sneaky extra money from me. See you all in a handful of weeks!

Trying to sort out plans for this comp. Is there a schedule of events for what is happening that I missed somewhere?

Maybe we can schedule our " family photo" for Saturday? As usual, Sunday isn't looking realistic. It's not totally out but one of us will have to work early Monday.

Me and some Canadian bros........

Good stuff! This should be a blast. I'm trying to head there Thursday to see what kind of rock it is. I've hiked in red rock 5-6 years ago but that was long before RC and debating over tire choices. Look forward to seeing you all!

Dang ..... being so close I would hope there would be a little more rigid schedule than that

How much more rigid do you want? Do we ever change the basic layout at comps? Everything after the normal classes is bonus anyway...
Show up, have a blast, give the guy driving as much crap as possible. [emoji106]

Rigid as in what time anything takes place? When is the finals being ran? I guess NENC raises the bar to high?? The most organized event I have seen thus far! Battlegrounds is right there with them.

For those of us spending $1000+, booking flights, renting cars and getting hotel rooms it would be nice to see a little more information. I know exactly how much effort putting on a worlds event takes and understand but we are inside 2 months and there has been very little information aside from a few posts spread out here and there.

This is not a little get together, there are guys flying in from all over the US, Europe, Japan, etc. This is Worlds and needs to be treated that way.

That being said, I will be there and I am down to have a ton of fun. "thumbsup"

I am working on the concrete schedule for times, I'll get em pinned down this week for check ins, finals, etc... Once this gig starts making money instead of bleeeding it like a stuck pig maybe I can hire some help, eh?

Maybe I have faith in John Holmes or maybe after all the events I've been too I realized that it's not the 1 or 2 guys Hosting the comp that pull it off. It's the community of people always willing and wanting to have a blast that seems to pay multiple times over.
Just my 2cents.....

While there are valid points from M and BC, the laid back sides point is valid. The coordinator doesn't set the schedules as much as we do. If we get there, get shit set up and say " come on, finials are today", people will move and make it happen. M and BC know I'm one of the guys that are making a pretty big hike for this and contending isn't my every comp routine to be gentle on myself. I just want to see a mellow environment and happy people once this jumps off. I've messaged John 2 times this week about motor service with no reply so I know he's busy and I have to believe it's with this. We know the dates, we know the location, we will be good. And yes, Jslick does know how to put on an event and have it go well. Lol. I'm bias tho:).

Unless it is my direct email it is turned off or blocked so I can focus on engineering and production. If you are looking for service, calling or emailing my business directly will get you immediate service.

My days are split between the lathe and getting Worlds buttoned up, so you are right that it is what I'm busy with!
