it's been raining here and nice and cool; oh well.

More like yeah boil. Should be interesting to see if everyone makes it without falling out from the heat. I know alcohol is out for the weekend!

I'll take that over the 95 degree 80%+ humidity we've been having in MO!

We will have lots of bottled water handy so people can stay hydrated. With such low humidity it really sucks the water out fast.

We will just have to see. Here in Pa it's been humid as hell. It may be a relief. I've always been super out of shape but spent the last 8 months working on that. I'm hoping it pays off with the heat not having any impact.

My biggest advice is to wear head gear - The sun is very unforgiving here in Vegas. I still go out like a DUMDUM for a morning comp and come lunch time I drained.

Is 90-95* warm enough to thaw out cold Canadian hearts?

It worked for you eh?

Those Canadians are so PRAWgressive!

A trophy blank from today's work on the laser. I was going to go typical with a base, but then thought about traveling with trophies and how they are tough to display when too big. So about 100mm disc that will have a hole for hanging is the final version. I'm upset the tooth profile isn't a proper involute, but you can probably guess where the vector came from

Base could be a simple rectangle with a center slot for the gear to slip-fit into. Easily removable for travel.

That was the initial plan, but since the bandsaw blade broke on the first one we might not be able to finish out bases. The 1st places stand up by themselves.
