2015 East Coast Championship

Any idea on dates so a man has time to get off work????

Shooting for May 15-17.
I would give that date a 90% chance.

I've been drafting rules for a driver judging style as well where the person behind you judges, typically with a simplified set of rules.
The team format we used last year was unbelievably smooth., and odds are we will use it again.

We are also going to have "Super Pro" tickets available if John wishes to have them part of the event. Basically the driver pays in to a separate cash pool, and only those drivers that pay in get to split up the winnings. Makes it easy to handle for those that want to put some extra money on their skills, and doesn't affect the ticket price for folks that don't wanna join.

I was planning on putting cash towards the team format, but if the drivers want to participate in the "Super Pro" then that works for me "thumbsup"

If scheduling works out, we will be there. I'm always down to wheel with BB, Beast and the southern folk that I understand every 3rd word. Right on!

Scaler fun is usually Sunday bud. Sporty takes all day Friday and pro certainly takes all day Saturday. Just trying to help dude

So is it LRC fish? I'm just trying to figure out lodging and stuff. I know its a lot on you dude. Just curious if anything is concrete. I don't even know the name of where we were last year other than heaven. I remember a few things: Barry standing too damn close to edge of rocks, you and i having a killer whale tail view at dinner and damn near passing out from my out of shape ass being in the sun too long. Haha!! I'm actually working out this season so I can stand for longer than 5 min at a time. Lol. Not turbo fest working out! You won't see me shirtless! But I should be able to hang this year:)

David, Last year we stayed at weise lake lodge. I can't wait to hang with y'all again! Good times.:)

Have fun guys, I wish life allowed me to make it.

For the new to LRC guys, the place is amazing, the rock is great, and the views are spectacular. The crew that stays up on the mountain and camps plays with scalers at all times of day with always fun night runs. For those that want a soft bed over sleeping in a tent, like Beest said, Weiss Lake Lodge!

I wonder if they ever got all of the airsoft pellet's picked up?

I found at least a dozen pellets last year without trying very hard.

No biggie GR. Just making sure we are all on the same page. I can't wait for this event. The drive I can do without but the group of folk at this one is awesome.

Pushing the dates back to May would be great. That will give me some more build time for the new rig! I missed last years comp, I hope I'm ready in time for this year.

Im glad i live 30mins or so away from lrc id hate to make some of them drives yall all be safe when yall come though

It's about 12 hours drive but I'd prefer it be at this spot. Beest, all you had to say is " go to the place with the giant ceramic fish" and I'd be good. Ha!! I'll get to show Liz where we had the whale siting last year. Now I'm really amped. I suffer from dumb and didn't even know the name of the place we had it last year. It's perfect tho. So many places to crawl that it would be tough to build a lame course. I'm going to wind up saying it somewhere so I might as well say it here. Anyone that doesn't support events this year due to thinning sponsor support is mad corny!! I'm getting the vibe that there are fewer vendors that can or will support these events. Who cares? I didn't drive 12 hours for my screwdriver stand last year. I did it to meet the people I made friends with on here and to try to beat the ones I didnt. Please try to rally folk to take part in these comps before they are gone. I really enjoy comping at this level regardless of where I finish. If people don't show up, the organizers won't either. Just say'n..
