That's a sweet idea! But with your 3lb rig, it's prone to blow away if there is any wind involved!

My drive will be 17 hours total from Minnesota....Besides 70% doesnt mean 70% of the day gets rain it means 70% of the forcasted area WILL get rain..... and that can be for 5 minutes. So i am not worried. wrapping rx and esc's just in case chit happens.

Well I am out and not happy about it.

Wrecked my car Friday night. Single car, no injuries, just a bunch of car mutilation.

First ECC I'll miss. So bummed.

Maybe I can strap my trail truck to the back of the klr....hmmmm.

does anyone have the address to put into a gps, the address at the beginning of this thread doesn't wanna really accept into my garmin.

So sorry to hear Sven  glad you're ok.

Now they've bumped a couple of the days to 100%. I need to figure out if I'm going today. We were leaving tomorrow morning. I'm pissed

Forecast said it was going to thunderstorm here today...saw it on the radar....just a few rain drops and bright sun shine now.

Rain or shine...I want to play with toy trucks this weekend.

Good attitude Britt. Liz and I are heading out for our 12 hour venture around 4 pm tomorrow. A small nap thurs morning and practice early afternoon until someone says " let's go to that 1 bar in town".

UPDATE

Online ticket sales close at 12 Noon EST Thursday.

At the door tickets will be $30 registration and $5 per class cash payout fee.

Based on current registration and emails we are going to start driving at 12:00 on Friday. Drivers that get there early feel free to practice, build courses, ETC. I will Atlanta very early in the morning, but due to unpredictable traffic I am not going to commit to an exact time. I do plan on being there in plenty of time to properly set up, but don't wait on me to start building courses.

We will be dividing into 2 groups. Each group will be responsible for judging and maintaining its course. Drivers will still be able to free crawl with there friends whenever they want as long as the courses are open. When every one finishes the current pair courses we will move on to the next pair of courses.

The more efficiently we work together the more courses we get to run. I am not going to crack the whip......almost everyone coming has tons of comp experience and should know what needs to be done. If you don't know ask me I am sure I can figure something out.

I have crawled for many years at this location and if we build weather smart courses the weather doesn't effect the courses. Drivers and trucks are different story.....my advice be prepared! Waterproofing is not rocket science, and no one is going to make you drive during a down pour.

Staying home because your worried about your truck doesn't help the future of crawling....people want hang out with fellow crawlers as much as they want play with toy trucks. Stay home and you will probably get to do again next season. ;-)

I would like to do some sort of scoring updates throughout the day, but that requires some sort of Mobile WiFi.

I have Sprint which sucks on the mountain.
ATT is ok, but Verizon works really well.

Beggers can't be chosers....LMK "thumbsup"
