2015 East Coast Championship

To my knowledge all sanctioned events must be run through RCorva.com.

They way we are trying to set up registration there will be a $20 Event Registration fee, approximately $5 RCorva/Paypal fee, and a $5 per class fee.

The $5 per class fee will be put in a winners pool for the class entered.

EXAMPLE:

Beest drives 2 classes (20 + 5 + (5 + 5) = $35)

BTF drives 1 classes (20 + 5 + (5) = $30)

Prices have been cut to hopefully cover event expenses. Unless a donation comes through there is no room in the budget for banners, trophies, or raffles.

If you need this event to have anything other than challenging courses and a chance to hang out with your crawler buddies it's probably not the right event for you.

See you on the rocks!

So I paid 25 to be on the site and get a number ... Then it's another 20 +5 plus 5 per class? May have to sell some rigs to afford to drive now a days

To my understanding.. (Just to be devil's advocate) The RCorva membership, is to keep the cost of the Big comps down.
It's separate from the actual comps.. Kinda like a RCC membership..

All comps have a registration fee.. The 5$ PayPal fee is new.. But 5$ per class, is Way better then the cost of tickets last year.. If I remember correctly..

Hope it helps..

After I get my issues resolved I will look into this."thumbsup"

It's unclear winner. The bottom line is simple. I had to show 3 people that have been in crawling longer than I how and why we need the rcorva. I owe that to Jslick or I wouldn't be signed up. Beest is known for being the funny guy at the comps but he has the most accurate and truthful points. If comp crawling is in trouble, the person who claims to be helping should be guiding the masses to what they need to do. I know where your loyalties have to be and no bad talk about your boy, but come on. Too many people are guessing, Barry B is having the log in trouble I had last week and fish just wants to take control of this and sell tickets. I'm done because even I get tired of hearing me bitch. I'll check in with this thread daily to see if tickets go on sale. That's it. Everyone's entitled to an opinion and mine is this isn't being handled well. I'll see you guys in Alabama in a few weeks!

Has anyone tried adding RCorva to there home screen?
My droid has a drop down screen/settings bar..
uploadfromtaptalk1430098334840.jpg

"Add to home screen" gives you a icon, like most normal apps, right in your screen.

I haven't had the sign in issues with RCorva. I have the issues with WPA crawler's web page tho. So I understand what's going on.

Just trying to help.

If someone else would try it and let the masses know if it helps, that would be cool.

My loyalties, are too crawling.. If I have something helpful to say, that aids towards crawling or giving a different perspective, then I say it.
I just don't feel any more negativity, on the fact that a new website isn't working right, is needed.

(All typed in the calmest of manner and the way of pleasantry)

Thanks Fish. Just being honest. No one is prompting me. I just want to see these comps continue. I realize that I'm a part of the newer generation but even I can see that Purp made a damn good point. I don't mind the money for the events nor do I mind the money per class. But I also have a curiosity as to where the other money is going if we can't even afford trophies. Please PM me about the trophy topic. If I can help I will.

I have signed up at rcorva.com and i can't even sign in i have tried all possible sign ins, i have tried 10 times to reset lost password and it never sends anything to my e-mail to even try to reset it. Also when i ask for assistance....I have tried that three times with no response at all. So i cant sign up for rcorva i cant get ECC tickets. this is rediculous. I am with you Crawllife....Is anybody at the Wheel?

I have found nothing happens on the weekend with RCORVA.
You might get an answer tomorrow.

What other money are talking about?

$20 goes towards direct comp expenses (Printing Scoresheets, water, snacks, pavilion rental, travel expenses, and other item) Usually I can't count on driving my truck most of the weekend, so I at least try to cover my expenses. I love you guys, but I not going pay money out of my pocket to put on a comp.

There is also a "transaction fee" that RCorva and PayPal charges that put on top of the $20

The $5 per class charge goes directly to drivers payout instead of throphies.

As far as the fee charged by RCorva to be a member of their website......I believe that is optional and not required to sign up for individual events. It's my understanding that's for PRO drivers wanting to participate in their National Points Series.

As Solitaire mentioned its difficult to reach RCorva on the weekend (currently my only free time).

I will ask if it required in today's phone call.

I plan to run pro and S. Can I buy my tickets at the gate?

I will also be available to judge.

I would rather not, but if that what it takes to get you there"thumbsup"

Registration is live on the RCorva.com website, and you SHOULD be able to register without becoming a member. I that turns out not to be the case please let me know BEFORE completing the transaction.

Ok!! I registered for 3 classes and I was directed to PayPal. I took care of that and I hope that's the extent. No tickets were attached to my payment so I hope that doesn't create any confusion. One way or the other the rcorva site holds events you've registered for so I guess the phone could serve as a ticket. Life is good! See yall soon!
