This is my first post on the forum. I have been a lurker for quite some time, but finally decided to get back into RC trucks after about a 10 year hiatus. I have been heavily involved in RC planes and multirotors over the last few years, but moving to a coastal area with lots of rocks has rekindled my interest in RC trucks (especially crawlers).

I decided to disassemble my shelved TLT-1 Max Climber since many folks on here seem to like the axles for average trail rigs. I have never done any rock crawling, so this rig will kind of be an experiment for me. Im sure my design is not the greatest out there, but it will hopefully let me experience crawling for a very small amount of invested cash.

Things have drastically changed since I left the Car/truck world in 2004, but I will rely on what I know from my past. If you see ancient ESCs or radios, dont fret. This is a budget build if there ever was one! I have a Duratrax Nitro MT Pro, a Traxxas Stampede, and a Traxxas Bandit to rob parts from for this build. I also am fortunate enough to have a 3D printer at home to make some unique parts that will be custom to the build.

I anticipate your feedback and opinions! I have many questions for you experienced crawlers!
