2014 RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge (August 22-24)

John thorton.... this just goes to show how much of an amzing event it was last year. Word spread fast and far and the ticket sales for this year has proved that.

Hats off to you sir. Thank you so very much for putting this together again for all of us.

Thanks bro...but seriously all I am is the director...all of you are the orchestra...your kindness, cooperation, laughter, competitiveness, willingness to help, etc...made ECSC what it is today.

My hat goes off to everyone that was there last year and my arms are open welcoming all the new people that will be there to share in the fun for 2014.

Got my c1, c2, c3 and fun run tickets at 8 on the dot this morning and was fortunate enough to score the "Guru luxury cabin!" So you all know where the fun is going to be. Everywhere!!!!!!

Is Ohio one hour behind us??? Must be, being that it only went live at 9am... :lmao:

Hey guys...on the eventbrite form, one of the inputs was asking if I was interested in judging...I've never been to an actual event before, so while I am interested, I really wouldn't know where to start...still kinda studying the rulebook.

IS IT AUGUST YET???

The best way to learn is to be a writer with another judge. Get familiar with the rules...When we set up judges, just state that you don't have experience but would like to learn.

It's great that you have stepped up.

Thanks
John

i was you last year. judging isnt that hard. and actually makes you meet a lot more people. do it for one class, and if you like it i am sure John won' stop you from helping in other classes.

I'm volunteering again. I'm not a pro by no means but I've done a pretty good share of judging lately. So you can pair up with me. Its really cool to be a part of something that everyone helps eachother. Jesterspec was judging my C3 JK and giving me advice on lines, now I do the same at our events. Which have become quite large. But this really is a good opportunity to learn the rules more and you get to see all those beautiful rigs in action!! Win-win.

Got my ticket and signed up to judge also. Is it August yet? haha I missed out on getting c1 since I am working in Cali. Man they went way fast!

Hello all I got my tickets right at nine happy as hell. This will be my first one of this type of event. When I ordered tickets I chose to not judge but would be interested in doing so or at least assist . I have a question on the class 1 vehicles, I read them and I am having a problem understanding if a honcho body setup is ok to use or do I have to get something else? Thanks and see you all there.

The bed of the honcho disqualifies it for C1, but I think they are trying to keep rule discussion out of this thread. I think you would be better off asking that here;
