2011 VARCOR Event #3 - Richmond, VA

Saturday, December 4, 2010 - Forest Hill Park, Richmond, VA

The season has been flying by with the 3rd event in less than 2 weeks. It will be on Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Richmond, VA at Forest Hill Park.

Click here for the location and you can map out directions from that link. Just enter your starting address in the 'From' field and map it out. If anyone has any questions, please let me know. Parking will be available at the small field at the entrance or along the street.

As usual, we're following the 2010 USRCCA Rules. We have implement some rule changes from the 2010 Point Series season in all classes except for the 2.2 Sportsman class to include on-course repairs only (USRCCA rule 1.4.2) and no 20 point carry rules (USRCCA rule 1.7.2). At the drivers' meeting, we can discuss any additional questions, issues, or concerns that is not discussed in that post.

The alternate weather date will be Saturday, December 11, 2010.

Course setup will start before 7:30 am
Registration and Tech will start at 8:00 am
Drivers Meeting / Course Review at 9:15 am
Start Competition at 9:30 am

Note the time changes due to the days getting shorter.

All classes (2.2 Comp, 2.2 Sportsman, 1.9 Comp, and Super) are available if we have atleast 3 drivers. And for the scalers, you're more then welcome to come out for a GTG trail ride.

We will need volunteers to setup the courses. Also, if you have markers, chalk, stop watch or timer, please bring it for the judges and course designers.
