Not much of a build thread but more of a place holder with updates as I go. A few years back I bought myself this RTR Blazer when I bought my kids an RTR Cherokee and JKU.

I added some goodies though out of the box this is a great RC truck. Even the lexan body has some great detail.

I detailed the wheels and added some cool old skool Rogue Element Warn hubs
I painted the hood semi gloss black so the black body clips/posts wouldn’t stand out so much. I also sanded the passenger front fender and removed some of the stock decals. I trimmed the rear for a little more clearance as well. Fun rig to bash around and the new metals sliders help protect the body.
Nice Blazer, I regret not picking up on of these bodies.
Thanks. I’m not a huge fan of lexan bodies, but this one is quite nice with the hard plastic bolt on details.

It really is a sweet body even for Lexan. I have the hard top waiting to be trimmed and painted.
Knight Customs inner fenders. Proline butter shocks. Beefed diamond axles.
I took the blazer for a little run today. Impressive. Up next will be painting and trimming the removable hard top. I want to go with a color other than white or black.

Beefed diamon axles? What does this mean?
Well it just means they aren’t stock axial scx10ii axles. Beefed up a bit with some SSD diamond housings and other bits and doodads.
Thought you meant SSD axles, but wanted to see if it was something new I wasn't aware of.
