Steering problems with the Redcat Racing Sumo Crawler

When I try to steer, both front and rear wheels won't turn. Both servos also makes a high pitch noise as I try to steer on the remote. I replaced the old servos with new ones but It still doesn't steer. Switching steering modes doesn't help and the throttle works fine. Do I just have bad luck...

What are people using these days for competition crawling?

I haven't been crawling in a few years and was considering a new crawler but it looks like so many of them are either scale rigs or 'rock racers'. I'm more interested in an all out crawler. I used to have an AX10 which was much simpler than my current XR10 that's giving me headaches. I have...

    New To Forum

Hello, Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've just started this new "hobby" which has turned more into an obsession. I never would have dreamed it would this much fun to work on something as it is to actually play. I have an Axial Wraith (which may be in some ways why I work on it so much). I...

New to the Hobby. Got an SCX10 Deadbolt.

Just wondering where I should start with upgrades. Been having a blast driving it as is but I already sent a few issues. It's not as stiff as I want it to be as far as twisting of the frame goes . Same for the steering link . They are already bending considerably. The frame is twisting right...

Starting the build right now. We will get a picture at the end of each page with some thoughts on our progress. First thing, right out of the bag.... Frame is the same basic shape, with just a few additional holes. And note # 1 from page one: They mean M2x8 screws. Not M2.6x8

Axial's SCX10 II Jeep Cherokee R&D rig photos

Axial was cool enough to send me their SCX10 II Jeep Cherokee R&D rig with 62 hours of drive time and abuse from John Shultz. The first thing I noticed when looking at the rig as I opened the box it was that this rig was properly abused and beat on, it looks like it's been through a dozen King...

Crawler Innovations Foams: How firm are they?

Hey guys, I am looking into purchasing these with a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires. From what I understand, it seems that the tires themselves are really soft and I was wondering how firm I could expect these foam inserts to be. Will the tires appear deflated if I go with the "firm"...
