Hello, i recently purchased a R/C crawler on amazon and was wondering what lexan bodies would be a good fit, without having to take it to a hobby shop. Also wondering if anyone else has one and if you switched out a body what kind did you get. I know it comes down to measuring the center of the front wheel and back wheel and chassis width but sitting in my office right now, lol. Its the 1/10 scale grando crawler from amazon. Thanks!

As long as the wheelbase is around 313mm / 12.3 inches (give or take half inch) you should be fine to use any of the popular bodies available online.

Measure your wheelbase from axle nut to axle nut and you'll know pretty quick what will fit or not. Mounting the bodies is generally pretty universal and there's A LOT of different ways you can create to mount a non-standard body with aftermarket body posts and such.

If you can share a picture of the chassis with the body off, that would be helpful.

Inserted it below for you and others.

Looks like a fairly standard body post set up. Any SUV body will work right out of the gate, you'll just have to drill the holes in the body so the posts go through.

If you want a truck body, you'll likely have to cut the posts down so they don't stick up so high in the back. Looks like it's wide open as far as options go - nothing obviously limiting from what I can see - all the components are relatively low dow as well, so you should be able to get it sitting nice and low!

It does ride high on the stock body though. since its a crawler

Ideally you want the weight as low as possible while maintaining only as much clearance as is required. You'll often see people mount bodies lower than stock and then trimming the wheel wells and fenders to prevent rubbing. Trail trucks and scale trucks might not be concerned about keeping the center of gravity so low though - I just mentioned it because it's great you've got the option available if you wanted to go that route.
