Best Crawler on the Market

A couple more to look at by Axial...

Bomber, 2.2 based ultra 4style rig...

Wraith 1.9, and or 2.2. tube frame off road buggy style.

Today, Losi officially released the Lasernut U4. As good as the Axial Bomber was, this thing should be several times better. It's definitely worth considering.

Except it is a fully independant suspension rig. The bomber is a solid axle rig, much closer to what the Op was looking for initially.

...or Vanquish ;-)

Yeah good point if it's in his budget. They are very planted with all of the extra weight.

A Bomber with stock wheelbase is great for uphills because it's so long. At the same time it sucks for breakovers because it is so long.

There is no best.

If you want a moon buggy I really can't help you as I have no experience with those.

But for scale crawlers and extreme terrain you really don't want portal axles. That rules out the SCX10 III and TRX-4 among others. Look to straight axle rigs like the SCX10 II or Element Enduro.

Okay, here is a noob question; Isn't portal axles better for ground clearance? Why would i need straight axles? Do they deliver more power on to the ground?

BEST for ME.

Element Enduro Kit.

As I’m not a huge fan of RTRs and prefer non portal axle vehicles.

The Enduro Kit is the best option.

Your mileage may very...

Why do you exactly prefer straight axle vehicles, do they have an advantage?
