Gamers?

I almost gave up on Snowrunner...incredibly frustrated. I've played Spintires and Mudrunner continuously since they were released, so I thought I knew what I was doing...wrong!

For the life of me I could not complete missions. 2 of them keep failing no matter what I tried over the course of a week of random trying. Finally, I solved at least one of them on a lark - Very simple mission at the beginning (Steel River Supplies) - it wanted a fuel tank delivered, so I delivered a fuel tank... but it wouldn't accept it. No how, no way. Tried full, not full, backed it in, parked it, drove straight, anything I could think of. Restarted the mission several times. Finally clued in that it wanted a certain fuel tank at a specific location on the map ... and there are three of them with the same name. Apparently, it will only take that specific one. Oh.

Off to figure out why the second mission fails to complete....

When you select a task or mission, if you scroll up and down the the list of items, it will show you exactly where those items are located on the map.

So those of y’all that have snow runner is it worth it and do you find yourselves playing it much after a few weeks of having it?

I still enjoy it a lot. I'm just starting the Alaska levels. With the kids being off school and us getting a new puppy, I haven't been playing much. When I do play gmaes, its fortnite, cause that's what my son plays. I've gotta be the only mid 30s dude playing that game:lmao:

I'd say snowrunner is worth it. They haven't really started releasing the DLC yet either. Supposedly MODs will be on console this time around too, but there were the same rumors on mudrunner and it never happened. I wanna drive a damn octopus though some mud!

Which one?

In the first map, something "Behind the pines" - had to drive to the top of a mountain. I got up there, but there was nothing. It just worked though, not sure what I was doing wrong, if anything. After the last update, it seems to have solved a lot of the glitches.

Yes, and Yes. Light years ahead of Mudrunner. I'm still on the first map - I tend to do every little thing I can before moving on - and I'm addicted to it. "thumbsup" Be prepared to lose large chunks of your time.

I played for 6 hours yesterday on and off... completely ignoring all the thing I'm supposed to be doing around the house. Wife was not amused. :) It gets addicting, I just keep saying "one more task"...and 30 minutes later.....

I do miss some of the off road trucks from Mudrunner - they had a lot more articulation than the trucks I have so far.

Y'all've seen the wolf easter egg, right? Now drive to the woods at night and shut of your engine and listen to the wildlife...

I made a trip to Walmart today and figured I’d look at system since playing games on my iPhone just don’t cut it, the store I went to didn’t have squat!

I highly recommend building your own, but it's just like R/C, you can end up going down the rabbit hole if you're not careful!

I'd avoid a Wal-Mart PC. I've seen some videos about them having parts other than advertised.

If you have a Micro Center near by I'd highly recommend checking them out! If you're in Chicago then you're blessed with two Micro Centers!

That'll be interesting. Dirt has been a good series. It's too bad the game Overpass fell short of expectations.
