hyrax predator compound review

With tall gearing that's a ton of speed. I'm not surprised you are burning tires. You'll need a harder compound to get more life out of them.

My gearing is not the stock trx4 sport gearing Im running a 13 pinion with a 45 spur. My guess would be it tops out at 4 maybe 5mph. Also I was wrong my motor is a 27 turn not a 21t.

Oh that's weird. It must be the super abrasive rocks out there then.

Not everyone is punished with moss & mud covered round rocks. Some of us have jagged and very abrasive rock because our dark lord and punisher cthulhu loves us more than others. :flipoff:

He knows some people can't drive so they need all the help they can get. :flipoff:

I was on your type of terrain Sunday. We went to a river and the area was all muddy and it was raining so you'd have loved it.

Of course because my area is awesome there was killer rock next to the river to play on when the rain stopped and the sun came out..

Don't get it twisted - I want to try out sandpaper rocks like you guys on the left coast have.

I'll meet you in AZ this summer. Craziest rock I've ever driven is in Prescott. It's like 40 grit and mostly round it's insane. You can run my sporty and pro, they do gayler G6 every night too so you'd feel right at home.

Sounds like a blast! I'm not anti-comp moon buggies either.

I just wheeled my Rock Rey on the Rim Trail down in Moab this weekend. I can confirm the rocks are ridiculous. It climbed some stupidly steep things with little effort.

Ground clearance is the issue there. Makes me want a Bomber lol.
