I'm looking for the best all around tire for hill climbing, trailing, and bashing. I just got the iROC Super Swamper last weekend. I like the grip they have and it's an awesome looking tread. The only thing I don't like is they stand really tall and make my hammer look cartoonish. Would a stiffer foam work better so tha tthe side walls don't just roll over and cause the truck to flip on turns. I can manage to keep all 4 wheels on the ground while cornering with throttle control.

I looked at the pitbull 1.9 rock beast and they look sweet... they are shorter than the iROC's and have a nice tread mattern... are these recomended as a "All purpose" tire? and do they mount well on the Axial 8Hole beadlocks?

The pit bulls would work great but I imagine you'd have to run realllly hard foams on a faster rig like the twin hammer because the tires themselves are extremely soft and sidewalls have zero strength on their own. And yes, they would fit just fine on axial bead locks.

You will get a million oppinions from everyone but I love the Proline TSLs. G8 compound is amazing and they work in everything I have thrown at em so far.

Rok Lox are smaller Iroks. But only 3 mm smaller.

+ to Proline TSLs. I am running them now.

I'm a tire junky I have 8 or 9 sets of 1.9s. The pitbulls are really good, so good I bought a set of 2.2s for my LNC but like he said there's tons of great tires. No tire is the best in every situation and terrain. For a scaler for me the tire has to work good but I also have to like the look of it. There are a lot of tires that work nearly as good as pitbulls that I like the looks of better.

Pitbulls or the Maxxis Treps for me. First hand experience, and they both work awesome. Just get some good dual stage foams.

If you're having problems with the Iroc sidewalls then you are going to hate the pitbulls. I don't have a set but I've heard they are super soft including the sidewalls.

The new 1.9 Pitbulls have a thicker sidewall. I think they would work great with some Crawler Innovations foams.

Both, Pit Bull Tires and Crawler Innovations are the Official Tires and Official Foams of the RECON G6. "thumbsup"

There is no better "all around" tire foam set up, period!

Ask Edna, my VP'd out Axial SCX10 JK...

I am running rok lox on my twin hammers and the size is great and the performance is amazing on all surfaces. I did take a dremel to the center tread blocks to groove them. good luck

I have the Maxxis Trepadors on my and really like them. The stock foams are a little soft, so dual stage ones would probably be better. I've got 5 or 6 runs on them so far and everytime they've performed great even for not being broken in yet. After the last run it feels like they might be just getting broken in.

Pitbulls with CI foams hands down...well for our random terrain down here in Texas. Mainly limestone, mud, sand, beach rock, river rock, crushed concrete.
