Whats a good entry level RC excavator? What are the prices of perhaps non-hydraulic & entry level hydraulic (id like to compare).

Much appreciated!

Ah hah I've seen that guy on YouTube digging out his basement that's what made me want one lol. Not prepared to dish out 2-3k now tho lol

bumping this thread b/c I think construction r/c is about to make a run like rock crawling did a few years back, although it will be mostly cool builds on converting Bruder toys into RC :) There's quite a few new post on RC Truck and Construction and Scale 4x4 RC sites already.

I'm already thinking of ways to dig out new tracks in BY for my crawlers :lmao:

The beautiful excavators that you see on YT are all done by Hobbyist by devoting hours and hours of skill full work into it. I think you should build one instead of buying a ready made one.

I wonder if you could buy a scale model like the ones CAT heavy equipment makes and convert it to R.C.

I am currently building an L&T Komatsu PC 200 for myself. Have got the bucket and forearm laser cut. Will start working on the boom as I get time. I will also be designing and building the hydraulic system all by myself.
Measuring real excavators and creating scale drawings is quite a daunting task.
