Okay, I have decided to stay with this hobby no matter how crazy it drives me:shock: I have even gotten myself a star"thumbsup"

Now I am ready to go lipo with my crawler. I am trying to power a HH 7T Puller motor in an Axial chassis. MM Esc with CC Bec, Futuba 3PM TX/RX and CYYS servo for steering. In the future a HR Dig unit with HS -5645mg servo. I am looking for recommendations on lipo chargers and batteries. i want to be able to mount the lipo battery on the front axle or the upper links or on the rear axle if the battery is big.

I dont want to spend a large amount of money to go lipo (-$150). Less is better:!:

Here are some of the items I have found from my research and web searching.

chargers: http://hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=7028

I have read good things about zippy and mystery batteries. Any suggestions concerning these batteries are welcomed.

Any recommendation are appreciated:flipoff:

Dynamite Ultra Vision 2, and common sense balancer, and lipos have worked great for the average user like me. They are priced right and are great batteries "thumbsup"

you have a hyperlink to the dynamite charger? what lipos do you use?

The turnigy charger and the CKRC pack are both excellent choices. The only thing about the charger is you'll need a power supply.

As far as the zippy batteries and mystery lipos, many of the "name brand" lipos are being priced pretty competitively these days so it really doesn't make much sense to take a gamble on a mystery battery....although I too have heard good things about Zippys, but I've also seen a couple puffed ones, so who knows for sure.

My personal choice for a charger and battery are the Hyperion EOS0606i and the Hyperion CX G3 3S 1100mah 25C discharge 5C charge, lipo. The 606i is a bit on the expensive side, but it does have a built in power supply.

I'm running a couple of the CKRC 3S Lipos that you have listed and haven't had any problems. They run 45min - 1hr with a 55t with plenty of wheelspeed. I don't think you can really beat them for the money.

I'm running this charger which is AC/DC and it has worked well for me:

Also, make sure you run a balancer or your batteries won't last as long... especially the cheaper Lipos.

I am sure I can rig up some sort of power supply for the charger:shock: and in worse case scenario i can always go back and buy a power supply:idea:. Do you have a hyperlink to the lipo batteries in your post. would like to check them out and put them on list.

really would like a build in balancer. one less thing to have to worry about moving around when crawling.

at the moment i run 1500 3s zippies, 1800 3s zippies and a 2200 3s zippy. as far as the mystery packs go i run 1500 3s on my crawler and was running 2800 3s on my scaler.

tried looking up hobbyking and google and msn switched me to hobby city. do you have a link to hobby king? Are these batteries small enough to run on the front axle or upper links of an axial? that 2200 3s souds like a winner depending on it discharge rate and burst rate,,

yeah hobby city is the same place...they should be small enuff, i dont have an axial to say for sure but i bet a 1500 is just perfect....just pickup a couple, or even some rhino packs.
