Hate to tell you this fishy, I know they don't edumacate you southerners like the rest of us, but Crawlerado is WEST of the Mississippi, break out a map sometime, it'll blow your fawking mind.

I registered, so you Sallies had better be practicing.

Yep yep, 100 drivers running 5 minute courses = ~11.66 hours of competition, if everything goes perfect.

Bring it on!

100 drivers x 5 min= 500 min / 60 = 8.33 hours Still a long day of crawling.

I guez yall edumacated Krawleradans havnt herd of them r gadgets cawled Calcoolatars. Yall can doo long rithmitic with taking off yur shoze;-)

Not correct, you need to add 1 minute before and after each run, so a 5 mintue course needs 7 minutes of time.

I know it sounds like a lot of time, but after running a ton of large comps I've got it down pretty well. This year at nats we finished within minutes of what I predicted we would.

You got to figure they have 1 min to get going. 1 min for the score keeper and judge to get back to the start and sign score cards take pics BS with their buddys..
If I was a betting man, I go with what Joson said on the time. Cause I bet he was thinking the same as I.

I didn't take into consideration the 2 min. prep time. so 11.66 hours is correct. Fishmaxx don't feel bad because you had to take your "shoze" off to check our "rithmitic"

Just an FYI.

Last year we didn't have magazine coverage or at least it didn't get printed.

I have talked with my editor at RC Car Magazine and he would like me to cover the event for a 2.2 Midwest Indoor Crawler Challange article. Additionally RC Car has stepped up as a sponsor and will be donating a number of free subscriptions and other swag. 8)

I want some good pictures... so I guess this means most of you will have to wear makeup or I will have to crop you out of the picture. :-P

My plan is to have the winning rig as a feature pic in the article.

And that's not even including the top 5 shootout.

A little more info for the guys thinking about timing.

Preliminarily we are talking about 4 courses at 4 mins each, it will not be set in stone though until the courses are built "thumbsup"

100 entries is about the max that can be run in a day, although we are indoors so going into the night we will have proper lighting.

It would help to shorten the day and we get more crawling in."thumbsup"

That's good to know cause I really don't want to have to look at your ass the whole time holding a flashlight over my truck as I stumble along on the course.

Seriously though, 4 courses would be cool.
