2009 - 2.2 Midwest Indoor Rock Crawling Challange

Hmmmm ideas for other events.... 2.2 spec crawling.... could be fun.:idea: Judging from the excitement this far, I think the possibility of other future events is looking good.

Also, I have heard more than a few comments that most people are opting for the Holiday Inn Express right across from the HobbyPlex that FroBoy posted. Sounds like if you want to stay were everyone else is at, that would be the place.

That is where the camera will be running for the late night antics.

Question, is there room and would there be any problems with parking a 29' trailer in the parking lot?

This is a 10th scale event... so you won't be able to compete with a full sized rig.

Seriously - HobbyTown's parking lot will most likely be overflowing. It's an industrial park area on a Sat so finding a place to part it shouldn't be a huge problem. As far as Holiday Inn, not sure would need to call them.

No reverse ECS's and only NICD batteries, right?

Ohhhh jeeez, I can hear my phone ringing now!

They still giving handout motors and making everybody run the same tires and foams?

Tamiya silver cans and highlift tires :ror: ahhahahahaha

Did you seriously just say "Spec" and "Crawling" in the same sentence?

Yeah I would say plenty of room at hobbytown. There are some other parking lots around Holiday inn as well, you could probably find a spot. I would just give the Holiday Inn a call. JUST GET THERE!!

Absolutely, and we will take care of you all day (lunch, drinks, etc). Thanks Brian, we appreciate it.

Judges and Scorekeepers will be working hard, so it's my intention to assure you guys don't have to worry about any meals or drinks during the day. I would highly recommend the scorekeepers and judges stay at the Holiday Inn as it will most likely make your already long day a lot easier.

Oh yeah and the judges and scorekeepers will get free foot massages all day courtesy of Tony "thumbsup"

BWAAHAHAHHAHAHA

I don't think you will like the result.
