Yeti Hubs

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums so break me in gently!

So earlier with my Yeti (equipped as stock) I hit a tree with my right-rear wheel, the result of which was a destroyed wheel and hub adaptor which I need too replace. I need some advice...

Stock of Axial gear here in the UK is poor, and the best i've found so far is Axial Rockster wheels, but these need the 12mm Hex Hub rather than the 6-screw stock adaptors.

The hex hubs look a lot smaller than the standard hubs, if I get the hex will I see a narrowing on the rear end?

Any advice you guys can offer me would be greatly appreciated!

The hub will be narrow due to the fact that the stock hub provides the necessary width to keep the yeti looking correct. Buy a set of VP hubs and use the hexes. That way you will be able to reuse the wheels and not worry about shredding the cheap plastic ones.

Thought so, thanks. I'm not entirely sure what you mean there though - when you say the VP hubs, do you mean these?

Ah got you, the hexes to secure the pins. with the VP adaptors. Ok thanks for the pointers chaps - I'll look into what delivery costs to the UK might be with these guys then.

Because the VP Hubs need a hex to be pushed on. Its different from the Stock Hub. If you want to use the VP Hubs you must upgrade to 12mm hexes.
