I have searched for any info and can not seem to find any can anybody give me some tips and pics of conversions done
I have been offered a stock xfactor with no motor for cheap want to know if its worth turning into a crawler.
Any help or assistance would be most appreciated.

x-factor conversion

I converted one to electric and the only thing worth keeping is the axles, I used a txt chassis and trans and it works ok.

Long time ago, I had a X-Factor that used the stock chassis, side plates and most everythign else.... but I dropped in a Jugg2/TXT tranny w/ a GD-600 into it. Worked fine for the most part. It was a heavy ass SOB in it's early stages. Pushing a good 17lbs RTR, yet it'd run for about 45-60 minutes

Search for Tater Tot or The 'Tot here on RCC and you may find some of the hacked job images that show it's insides

Here are a few shots of my electrified X. I'm into crawling but living on Long Island doesn't really lend itself very well. I'm also not into tubers, they look cool but just like 1:1 it's overkill for 95% of the people wheeling.

At any rate, it has performed very well. I am planning on extending the wheelbase about another 1" and swapping out the motor for something else (I'm at the point that I will start winding my own armatures).
