Been wanting to build a 1/10 scale Willys Jeep body to fit my AX10.
Spent hours on the net looking with no luck.
Can anyone help me please ?

Already have scale drawings for a 70's - 80's Chevy Van, now thats gonna be fun.

sounds to me like all you want is scale drawings

just check here there are plenty of willys drawings

I think you might have a hard time using axial parts and staying 1/10 scale unless you want it to look highly modded..

there are 2 willys body's avalible in 1/12 scale one is a military toy I will have to find the link for that one.. and second would be the wild willys body from tamiya..

here is the first one it is a planbtoys 1/12 scale willys
http://www.plan-btoys.com/store.html#wwii you will have to scroll down the page to see it pretty nice little small for most builds though..

Will do Sloppy

One of the biggest problems I have at moment, is getting Aluminium plate.
Really weird here in NZ, you can buy big sheets no prob, but small amounts, nope.

Have been to scrap metal places, and can see Alloy plate, but they can't/won't sell it to you.

Have even tried Engineering worshops that do Alloy fab work, if your reeeally lucky, you might find some scraps to suit for under 10 bucks.

My new thin Alloy source, 2nd hand shops, looking for flat oven trays.

so you are doing a all metal willy that should be something to see..

I have no solution for your material problem have no idea what is in NZ.. good luck hope you get it sorted out..

Wow

That's awesome, I want to build something along those lines.

Thinking of building in ally, mainly because I'm a Jeweller by trade, and used to working with metal.

Would like to have a go in plastic, but thats all new ground for me, so definatly want to be sure I've got the best glue for the job.
