Which size Baja Claw for Scx with dingo flares?

I am running the stock Flat Irons stretched over narrowed 2.2 wheels and have finally worn them out. I want a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Claws but I'm not sure if the 4.75" version will fit inside the dingo flares. I am using the Pro Line '73 Bronco body with the dingo flares added on for some extra width to cover the tires and I really like how they look so I would prefer not to change the body or the flares. The extra height of the 4.75" TTC's would be nice but if they simply won't fit I can go with the 4.19's. Does anyone use these tires with a Dingo body or a body that covers the full width of the tire? Thanks in advance!

Have you considered the 1.55 Baja Claws? They split the difference in the 1.9 versions at 4.5 inches tall.

I wouldn't go with the 4.75 versions, the 1.9 Treps on my wife's Dingo pretty much completely fill the wheel well and the bigger version of the claws are taller and wider. The 4.19 or the 1.55 versions would be my choice.

Will a 1.55 stretch over a 1.9 wheel? I have a set of beadlocks that i want to use. If they will I'll go that route and if not then the 4.19's will work. Just out of curiosity how do the treps look with the dingo body? Does a tire that size look cartoonish or just aggressive? Thanks for the reply!

Stretching 1.55 tires onto 1.9 rims shouldn't be much different than stretching a 1.9 tire onto a 2.2 rim like you already have done. I haven't done it but there are plenty of people around this forum that have.

The Treps don't look bad on the Dingo. They are a little big but still tuck into the fenders nicely and don't rub too bad. I'll have to snap a pic when I get home.

Cool, thanks. I've seen a few people that have stretched 1.55's but I wasn't sure if the Baja Claws had any issues with stretching due to the sidewall design or construction. Also, what size foams should I use for a stretched 1.55? I want to go with some Crawler Innovations foams but I'm just not sure which to use, the 1.55's or 1.9's.

I have Losi 4 inch shocks I switched the springs on and have the 4.75 1.9 claws.

Dingo on Treps, mostly stock.

SVT923 that's the look I'm going for. I really like those wheels too, they match the body really well.

Do those SR02's use traditional 12mm hexes or SLW's? I haven't seen a photo of the backside of them yet so I wasn't sure. The Mrs. wants to get me some rc stuff for Christmas and I thought these would make a good stocking stuffer.

Standard hexes, they are machined into the back part of the wheel.

Those gmades are great. I believe they have the most positive offset of any 1.9. I have two or three sets of them. They tuck tires nicely

They are also one of the easiest sets of beadlocks you can assemble in my opinion.

4.75" tall are too big, several good suggestions here, either the smaller 1.9 set or stretch the 1.55 version on to 1.9 wheels. Those GMade wheels are a nice look for older style bodies and not too much offset like most wheels these day. :)

The 4.19 Claws are actually really good tires for their size. X2SS compound too.
1.55 claws are an older compound that simply doesn't work as well as X2ss

The 1.55's that I am looking at are listed as x2ss compound just like the 1.9's. Is that right or a typo?
