Hi.
I just purchased the following two chargers from Ebay:

Losi Multi-Pro Intelligent Balance Charger ($35 shipped)
Losi: MultiPro Intelligent Balance Charger: Losi (LOSB9606)

Dynamite Passport Ultra ($75 shipped)
Dynamite RC: Passport Ultra AC/DC Charger/Cycler: Dynamite (DYN4064)

They are both in like new condition. I tested them both and they work great!
My question is, which one should I keep?
The dynamite was more costly, but will it last longer, charge/balance better, worth the extra $$$?
Or will the Losi be more than sufficient for a recreational crawler like me?

They both seem fine to a rookie like me, but based on your input, I'll sell one and keep the other. Thanks for your thoughts!

Jared

Dynamite. Since you bought already.
If wouldnt of bought I would of recommended the Thunder AC6.

If you ever need AA Nimh Charger I just got one from A MAIN HOBBIES for 27 cents lol.

It looks like you got a good deal on both of them. Why not keep both? I would keep the Losi in the car and the Dynamite in the house.

Is the dynamite really gonna keep my batteries that much healthier?

I looked online for reviews on both and there wasn't much to go on...

I don't know the specs on either unit, but in general, "A charger is a charger" in terms of keeping your batteries heatlhy.

A more versitile charger can:
-Charge at a higher rate (meaning faster)
-Charge many different types of battery chemistries (LiPO, NiMH, NiCD, etc.)
-Balance charge LiPO
-Charge from a home wall outlet as well as a 12VDC source

Neither is BETTER....

The Passport has both AC and DC inputs, and a Higher charge rate....all that means is you can plug it into the wall and it will charge your batts faster than the Losi (though both should be used at 1C to charge)

The Losi is a re-badged IMAX B6 charger, the same as I have used for 4 years now with great results....however it is DC only so you have to hook it to a car battery or a power supply ....and it has a max 5A charge rate.

As stated above I would keep the passport for charging at home and put the Losi in your toolbox or travel bag for use in the field

Ive got 2 of the passport ultras, (for the most part only use 1) you cant go wrong with this charger! Five year warranty... It charges all batteries i need it to, it balance charges. You stole it!!! I highly suggest this charger. They have reviewed this charger in various magazines its got great reviews.
