My wife picked me up a Bomber for Christmas during the black friday deals. Luckily for me she let me have it early so I could start messing with it!!!

First order of business was to upgrade the power in it. Also got the wheels picked out.

Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster BLE Pro (waterproofed)
Tekin ROC 412 3100kv
Holmes Hobbies HV400 steering servo
SSD Assassin 2.2 Beadlock wheels

Painted up the fuel cell and fab'd up a mount for an EXO rear light bar. Used the HeyOK KOH light kit. Blue and Amber flash and Reds are brake lights.

I am now waiting for tires & foams. For foams I ordered Crawler Innovations 5.5 Double Deuce's. For tires I went with Ottsix VooDoo U4's in silver.

Getting my shocks set up on my bomber. In the front I used the Proline Powerstrokes designed for the Slash rear (6063-01). They are 102mm in length.

In the rear I am running a dual setup..... I am using the new Proline Powerstroke XT that are designed for the Yeti they are 128mm in length. I am also running the RC4WD Ultimate Scale shock as a dampener only it is 100mm. I am still messing with spring rates and shock oil.

Where did you buy your XTs? No one is supposed to have them in stock until the 20th.

Same! Where are those from. I currently have the rc4x4 stainless link package on its way as well, they look great! Really digging the shock setup as well.

Thanks a lot man! Just got them ordered. Even got free shipping. "thumbsup"

Cool deal!!!! I was pretty impressed with Proline's shipping speed.... I ordered on Thur and got the shocks on Sat!

I am liking the shocks so far..... right now I am running 30wt oil and blue primary and secondary springs on them which are the softest. But I also have the secondary dampners as well.

Here is a link to Proline's Tuning guide

Thanks again. I'll be using the XTs strictly as secondary dampers. I've gotten really good at tuning the Traxxas big bores and Axial springs combo that I run on all my rigs now. I'm hoping that these XTs will eliminate the shock fade I was starting to see after the first half hour or so of driving. Normally I like really bouncey rear ends but not on my Bomber.
