What would you do with wrong foams...? 4.75 tires and 5.5 in foams.

So I ended up on 4.75 RC4WD MTZs on the Optic. Using stock foams atm.
Picked these up, and I guess I thought I could stuff them into the MTZs, but I'm not sure why, so I'll blame the lack of my Origin shipping notification still not being sent. lol

Any good way to use them in a 4.75, or should I just keep them for different 2.2 wheels? I have a few sets of 2.2, but non are 5.5s
5.0s would have been the buy I should have made. Would have allowed it to be overstuffed just a smidge.
But any ways, Trim? Keep for later? Some other option to make them work?

Honestly I would save them for another build. But then when it would be time to use them, I would forget and buy another set.

In the end I would cut them and if they didn’t workout right it, I would still be 3 sets in.

Its a size i wouldnt use. Therefore, Id toss them in my swap meet tote. After they sat there for a few years with a couple failed attempts to sell them, id do a big purge and toss them in the trash.

Then a few days later, fate would give me a reason to use them and id have to buy another set.

Thats what I'm thinking. I have some 2.2 s now that have stock foams in them, but most are 6inch tall. Don't think I have a 5.5 except MAYBE the Deepwoods I have installed on some 2.2s I'll have to look and if so, then these may have found a home.

5.5 is a bit oddball. I was thinking of geartoothing them, but they're still way big for the 4.75s I ended up getting.

I think I have a set of chanquish foams here that may have a thinner foam I might be able to put on and make work.
I'll have to dig around and check. But at 27ish bux a set, they wont be seeing the trash, maybe ever. lol

However I do have the option of returning them as they are unopened and I got them from Amain, but loose a lil bit of the purchase power due to shipping costs back.

I think the good long end result would be to see if these other outer foams will work. if not just leaving them for the next set of 2.2s I need and get a set of 5.5 or 5.25 2.2s as I don't mind pushing just a lil extra foam in the wheels.
