Utah crawling clubs near salt lake?

I looked these up. 801rcc doesn't seem to exist anymore and the other two are strictly scale crawler clubs.

look on facebook for 801rcc, there is still a huge following.
Usca-rc.com has slowed down, but they still hold comps.

I see this is an old thread, I am a contractor in town for a while working. I am purchasing a new TRX 4 today and am looking for some good places near Layton, Ogden to crawl around. I plan on doing this thing up pretty scale. Any info on good spots would be appreciated.

Is there snow down there? I am up near Park City and we still have at least a foot on the ground.

You might drive out to Antelope Island, although there is a fee since its a state park. There are some hiking trails out there that might be decent. Just watch for bison.

Also, check out apps called AllTrails and Trailforks. They are hiking/mountain biking specific apps but will show you where the local trails are. There should be stuff along the mountain range.

a great place is a place called "black rock" its out by the great salt lake off i-80, its fairly popular, so you might see someone else crawling out there.
