I've started numerous builds after this rig was built and it never got shared here. I remember telling myself I would stop at #10, HA. I won't ramble on. This started life as a GSpeed V3, MST J45C cab only, VFD, AR45P straights, Unimog wheels, Krawlers, Micro X V1, Brood Riot 1600kv outrunner, and Shift RC X2 servo. It will become a recovery rig with 4 winches; scale winch up front and 3 servo winches underneath the truggy bed of the MST kit. I also have the body still mounted to sit as low as the truggy bed will allow. More details later, but here are some V1 pictures.

With a Phoenix buddy at Amain.

And here's the spare Element chassis. The spare GSpeed rails went to another build that I've yet to update.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll be curious how this one turns out

Thread update (1 of 2), bringing things up to speed to this day. There's a lot to be said.

Goal was to utilize the yuge Warn winch on a front bumper. Dug out the stock MST bumper and spaced the mount forward from the mounting bracket so the winch could clear the body.

Here's most of the components installed besides motor and actual servo winch for the rear (set one in place for dry fitting).

Reused parts from V1:
- MST J45C cab
- AR45 straight axles (over/underdriven)
- Hardcore RC links
- Front Incision driveshaft
- YZZR printed inserts
- Overdose body latch front mounts
- Radiolink 6ch Rx

Spare parts used:
- Element rails/skid/sliders/servo mount/front shock towers/battery tray
- Universal rear shock towers
- RC4WD Warn 8274 winch
- Rock Pirates panhard mount
- MST J45C front bumper/caged bed/
- IERC servo mount (for rear)

Parts added:
- Amazon 3 gear metal transmission with dig
- Hobbywing Fusion 1200kv
- HK Hobbies 35kg+ servo
- S53-20kg servo for dig
- Boom Racing 40kg direct powered Muscle winch for rear (x2 for sides on the way)
- InTheWorks RC shocks
- Incision style shorter rear driveshaft
- RC4WD Humvee beadlock wheels
- RC4WD Interco TSL Thornbirds
- Warn winch fairlead (rear)

Here you could see a rearward facing body post (x2) that acts as a catch for the cab.

IERC servo tray mounted and shock towers installed. Initially I was looking to use a cheap winch for the rear, but this position wasn't going to work so that's where the Muscle winch(s) comes in to utilize the internal spool and I ended up moving the servo to the opposite side. The winch has to be laid down for rear bed clearance. Also the rear hole setting on the frame rails was chopped off for the bed.

I used 2 leaf shackles to act as hinge for the bed but also allows the bed to be mounted lower than stock setting to cater to the lowered setting of the cab. A lot of dry fitting happened here but paid off.

Once the bed is set down, 4 screws can be installed to secure the front using some universal body post mounts which are secured by a long ass screw (x2) coming from the sliders (easier to unscrew these to disconnect the front of the bed rather than the 4 screws).

2 of 2 update continued.

Few used body pics.

Rig isn't running BGFs anymore so I'll have to remove this sticker.

Since I have the body sitting on the front bumper, since I like the no gap look there, the body latch setup can't be used so they have to stay on the body instead.

Unfortunately I couldn't find some narrow style fairleads to fit the sides, so I cut these aluminum brackets that have 2 holes and 2 slots to fit the spot. Cutting off and shaping the slotted end of the bracket, I'm able to get the fairlead I'm looking for.

Rear Warn winch fairlead looks legit. Might install some D link mounts to secure the winch hook.

More updates when I receive the other 2 winches and mount them. Pretty stoked to get them mounted because I figured out a perfect spot for them which the free spool button is easily accessible.
