Hey all - I'm going to be doing a whole new lighting set up on my Baja Rey. I had previously controlled it with a manual toggle switch from HeyOk. The switch works great - as per usual with Al's stuff, but I'm adding more light and looking to take things to the next level.

So, I'm looking for a lighting controller that I can pair to my DX4C for remote operation. I'll be running a rear "chase-light" bar, a front bumper light bar, and a Cab light bar.

Primary need is simply to be able to turn them on/off remotely. Secondary want would be to run the chase-light in strobe mode, possibly brake light mode.

I've looked around at RPP and on Ebay. There seem to be a lot of options, but I figured I'd reach out to get some feedback before blindly pulling the trigger."thumbsup"

Just PM heyok, he does custom stuff all the time, it just depends on how much you're willing to spend.

I have the MyTrickRC UF7 controller system in four of my trucks and really llike it.

I'm a bit limited for space, so I may go with the DG-1 - looks like it's a bit smaller than the UF7. Still going to check with HeyOk too."thumbsup"

I have also checked these units out from My Trick RC. Seem like they would do exactly what i'm looking to do.

I have the dragon one, other then the price, much of which was in LEDs, so maybe the price is not that bad, I think I spent around $80 for everything. Eight 5mm LEDs and two 1" high power light bars.
I don't remember exactly what you had to pick between, but there was something you had to decide on when you set it up.
I think it was picking between brake lights or reverse lights, the other one would always be on with the running lights.

The UF-7 did not control High powered LED bars, that's why I chose the dragon system. (Maybe it can, but they were not listed as such on the MYTRICKRC site)

I think msrp on the DG-1 was like $35 - so not too bad"thumbsup"

The lighting controller from Al at HeyOK showed up today and I promptly got to work installing it. (Spektrum DX4C Tx). After figuring out a couple bugaboos with my set-up, the controller works perfectly and is quite small / easily hidden with the capability of having 4 different lights. As far as the issues, the DX4C has the AVC function. You HAVE to INHIBIT AVC in order to get the Aux ports to be recognized at the Tx and be assigned to your desired button for operation. I went with the E button - 2 position. Pics below. 1st pic shows how/where I'm going to mount it. 2nd pic is for size reference. "thumbsup"
