I'm having no luck in binding my SPEKTRUM DX3E receiver to the SR300 fx ???
I put the bind plug in the SR300 port, plug in the battery, turn on the ESC ( Hobbywing1080 ), the light on the 1080 is flashing .... then press the bind button on the DX3E then turn it on...... I hold it until the light goes solid..... I then turn off the receiver and pull the bind plug............ I turn everything off and then turn everything back on like I normally would..... and nothing????
What am I doing wrong?? It's been forever since I did this... so confused?? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Release the bind button when it starts flashing, not when it stops flashing.

Binding a Receiver
1. With the receiver off insert the bind plug into the BND port on the receiver.
2. Power the receiver through any other port. The amber LED will flash continuously, indicating the receiver is in bind mode.
3. With the steering wheel, throttle trigger and Aux channel (if applicable) in the desired preset failsafe positions, press and hold the bind button and turn on the transmitter. The red LED on the front of the transmitter will flash within a couple seconds indicating the transmitter is in bind mode. Once the red LED begins flashing, release the bind button.
4. Within 15 seconds, the LED on the receiver will go solid indicating a successful bind has taken place.
5. Remove the bind plug and store it in a convenient place.

With the dx5c and dx5 pro as soon as it binds you can start driving even with the bind plug in place. I'm not recommending it just saying I have done it. So you could tell right away before resetting stuff whether or not its bound. The older ones might act differently.
