Dears,

I have a trx4. I changed the servo to PowerHD 23kg coz my stock servo went dead.

I am having a glitch issue on steering even if i place it directly in receiver. Please see video link below

Please help

First, Welcome to RCC.
The video really does not tell me anything. Are you sure the servo cable is plugged into the receiver in the proper orientation and on Ch1? Also, TRX4 questions should be placed in the TRX4 specific section below.

I have 2 of them in my rigs. Power HD LW25MG. In both of them, they sometimes do this, but it seems random. Not sure why they do it, but seems to happen only when the rigs stands still, not while driving.

If your rig is equipped with TSM (Traxxas Stability Management), try turning it off. I experienced the same random twitching, but with Holmes Hobbies servos. Deactivating TSM solved the issue for me, and I miss it about as much as I miss the clap.

This might be legit. I notice this happening even in my Slash, that i have TSM at 100%.

I'll try to turn it off completely on the TRX-4 to see if it fixes things.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the reply. and sorry It took years to reply back. I forgot my account that's why.

Anyways, MonkeyChimp and xagoras are correct.

My esc got fried. I ended up replacing esc with Hobbywing 1080 and a 35kg 360 servo. now it is perfect.

Thanks again I will keep in mind your replies to help others too.

Good to see you back regardless.

Unfortunately the XL5 HV that comes stock in the TRX trucks isn't great. It's enough to get you running, but not good for much else.

I fried mine (several years ago) just by putting a set of Hyrax tires and metal wheels on my kit chassis.
