So, after deciding on an SCX10 II and almost ordering, I found the TRX-4 kit. You guys convinced me to get it, and so it's ordered.

We will be starting this build from day 1, today.

The TRX-4 kit is ordered and will be here sometime next week.

This is the body we ended up choosing. It just arrived today, I will get some pics up ASAP.

For electronics, we are going with a HobbyWing 1080 and probably a Holmes Trailmaster Sport 550 27T. For the servo, we are thinking this one but are open to suggestions(on all electronics that is)

That's all I really got now, I'll try to get some pics of the body and will let you guys know when the chassis gets here.

*I use "we" because me and my father are building it*

Yep it sure does. It will definitely prove to be an issue entering and exiting the steep stuff

Wow, that body as pictured on ebay has a LOT of rear overhang.

One of the main reasons we got the TRX-4! It comes with what seems to be a pretty good body for the rough stuff. This body is for trailing, that is all. We just fell in love with the look.

Now we'll have a body for each.

Some pictures of the body.. Making progress.

Fell a bit behind with finals coming up, but the chassis arrived and we put it together,

Went together in about 2 hours with 0 issues! Everything fit perfect right off the bat, very happy with the quality.

Electronics should be here Friday so we can get this thing running! We chose the HobbyWing 1080 and the HH Crawlmaster Pro 10T.

The Range Rover body is going to be painted soon too.

Some pictures,
