It's probably been asked a thousand times, but I could not find a concise answer. So it's getting asked again.

This is for a TRX-4 with TQI Transmitter. I replaced the stock TRX servo with a ProTek RC 370TBL and the servo horn with a 25T Vanquish. Everything looks good, but I don't get full steering lock.

This is a TQI transmitter. The first thing I did is reset the current steering EPs

Turn off the vehicle, then transmitter. Then turned the both back on. Next I set the Steer EP.
Menu-Menu-Set-Set-Menu(x3)-Twist/set-etc-...
The only time I see the complete throw of the servo (+/-60°) is during the Steering EP setting. After that I'm super limited on the throw. Since both the stock servo and this one are +/-60° I'm OK with leaving with no limit, but resetting it doesn't seem to help either.

Not sure what went wrong, but I reset it to factory and it's all good now... until I break something else. ;-)

I've had similar issues getting a TQi transmitter to save steering EPA correctly.

My neighbors had issues till he updated it to link with his phone and now it sets and saves properly.

I've had similar issues with a Savox in my TRX4. Every other time I'd run it, it would have the steering servo endpoints correct. One time it wouldn't go to the full lock on one side, the next time it's going beyond and binding on both left and right lock. I called Traxxas about it months ago and they said certain servos will do that as they're not compatible. I don't think it's wide spread as a lot of guys run aftermarket servos.
