Traxxas 2075 voltage

Hi,
I use a traxxas 2075 servo. I bought the hobbywing 1080 esc, and can up the voltage to 7,4v
I know the 2075 is rated to 6v, but does anybody use them at 7,4?
I am redding mixed anders on the internet.

It may work for a while, but not for long. It's rated at 6v for a reason.

i sugest you buy a new servo that one wont last long at any votage

And don't forget that Traxxas receivers are not a fan of more than 6v, trust me I know.

The servo will work fine at the higher voltage, and should kick out ~ 150 oz of torque. But, the core problem with this servo will remain, it is still underpowered for the job you are wanting it to do. Recommend looking at a servo that is at lease 300oz.
