Trailmaster Pro - adding a switch

I wonder why the Traimaster Pro has no switch. Can I add one, or will that cause a problem?

Holmes ESCs don't have switches because they fail and are near impossible to waterproof. Additionally, it takes a massive switch to handle some of the amperage we throw at these electronics.
Generis has a video about using a 15amp dpdt bridged to handle 30amps. Since a regular spst that can handle 30amp is very large.
