I would like to see some opinions on what tires everyone likes.

Proline super swappers XL: I have been running these on my scx10 basher truck fit awhile now. These are my favorite on loose dirt and rocks. They grip extremely well, and conform to obstacles easily.
Pro-Line Interco Super Swamper Tire 1197 for Rock Crawling

RC4WD IROK: these are good but not as grippy as the proline. Meaning, loose dirt going up hill, rocks sticking out of the dirt, these don't grab the rocks for traction like the proline.
Interco IROK 1.9 Scale Tire

Axial Trepedors: Still sitting around unmounted. But, would like to hear how these do in the field.

The trepadors are kind of smallish but surprisingly they do rather well at least on the deadbolts that I've seen.

I like the Axial BFG Krawlers and most recently I have tried and really like the Proline Flat Iron XL tires. They're about one of the tallest and widest 1.9 tires you can get and are beastly. They really give the SCX10 a very aggressive looking stance but are not so huge as to look monster truckish.

On the flat iron, do they have the non-standard bead like the swampers? Meaning, they only work with the proline rims.

I'm using them with Axial 6 hole bead locks and they work fine. "thumbsup" Just be aware that they are not competition legal, just a hair too tall.

RC Overload did a video showing them on the Rubicon with Axial beadlocks:

I may have to try a set of the flat iron tires. Can anyone tell me how they compare to the super swampers XL? Wonder if they use the same rubber compound.

Update, mounted the trepadors. Been running the same uphill climbs with all my tires. The rubber compound is awsome. They grip rocks with ease. I would put the rock gripping capabilities on par with the proline swampers. On loose dirt going up hill the do not do as well as the proline or rc4wd IROK. But, with little rocks sticking up, these grip hard surfaces very well. I think the treads are not as deep as the proline or RC4WD IROK. This gives it a disadvantage on loose dirt.

Overall
Proline tops my list

Tie for 2nd
Trepadors: great on rocks, just ok on loose dirt
RC4WD IROK: Great on loose dirt, just ok on smooth rocks

the trepadors imo are horrible. . I like my iroks and live my xl mudslingers

I love the smaller mudslingers on my 1/18. The xls are on my shortlist. Honestly I would have bought a set already, if people where not raving about the SS and rockbeasts so much.

What makes you like the xls?

My hill that I run on consist of loose fine grain dirt and rocks. The xls does everything well. It gets up the steepest hills without to much drama. The Trepedors, I have to search for little rocks to grab onto. The RC4WD also requires a lot of wheel spin.

I feel the whatever proline uses as their rubber compound is on the money for grip on rocks. The tread design is great for loose dirt. My only gripe is, they won't fit on 2 of my alloy rims due to their beads being different from other tire manufacturer.
