So Proline's current offerings for the 2.9 " tire is simply these 3 ?

Hyrax G8
Maxxis Trepador G8
Interco Super Swamper G8

other brands ?

No paddle tires ?

Can a 2.2" wheel be fitted to a 17 mm hub or the factory SCX6 stub axle ?
Or would that require changing the SCX6's hub size to 12 mm ? (if that could even be done) ?

Are these designed to fit the SCX6 (17 mm hex drive hub and 2.9" wheels) ? ---> https://www.prolineracing.com/produ...7-tires-mtd-24mm-black-raid-2/PRO1020210.html
I only want the tires if they will fit my 2.9" wheels, not the wheels for a 1/5 scale rig.

I was really hoping to purchase some paddle tires for my SCX6. !?

Any information regarding this ^ would be helpful.

Yes I suck at using this site's search function

Could these be adapted to fit ? --> https://www.ebay.com/itm/3342901699...F3K|ampid:PL_CLK|clp:2047675&epid=23051838753 (they are a 17 mm hub drive after all)

yeah I suppose. I have an inquiry with Proline hopefully they will let me know if they ever plan to make a paddle tire for SCX6's 2.9" wheel.
But in my experience I have a thought that a smaller diameter paddle tire would decrease the motors heat by lowering the gear ratio.
But I know next to nothing about these brushless motors.
I'm rather old school and only had brushed motors in the past.

Have you thought about a 2.6 monster truck tire on a 2.9 wheel not a cheap experiment but might work
Other option is making your own.
Ic2000 is amazing stuff
Not really I'd have guess as to what foam inserts would fit them.
And guessing games can be an expensive proposition.

What is this Ic2000 ? Some sort of glue that bonds rubber ?
Not sure I want to attempt making / gluing my own tires together.
That would entail that I cut up other tires to scavenge from.
Not so sure I'm up for that or even capable.

The tires I was thinking of don't use foams

clod style tires lol

Ic2000 is some kick but rubberized super glue it kicks but for repairing tires

I've only made a few sets my self mostly old tires resized to keep my costs down on new builds

I did a set for my neighbor they held up real good

Ok got it. I've used CA kickers before Maybe not this rubberized CA.
I don't have the confidence of hacking and gluing rubber tires
