Hi guys,
Not new to the forum but its been a while since I posted. Here's my Camel Trophy Gelande 2 defender 110. Its a standard rc4wd gelande chassis and body with a custom interior i designed and printed and custom graphics too(that I also sell on eBay) based on the 1998 Tierra Del Fuego Camel Trophy rally. I just thought it was kinda cool the 110s were there purely as a suppport role. The roof rack is by HKlegendsRC.
Things I'd like to do:
Make the suspension more scale
Maybe go 1.7 and keep tire diameter
Raise the drive line(gearbox, transfer etc) so that the more scale suspension can clear it.
Put a V8 CChand bonnet on it, matt black(maybe)
If anyone has advice on a few of those items id love to here. I know team raffee does low clearence axle trusses, i wonder if they work on Yotas and not just PHAT axles.
I'm not too pushed about keeping it truely trophy spec, I wouldnt mind going downj the route of a retired, resto modded 110.
Anyway hope you enjoy the pics
Daniel
