I finally got my first crawler a few months ago. I’ve wanted an SCX24 for many years and finally got one with all those sweet parts I’ve been looking at forever. I have been a Datsun fan since I was a kid so of course I went on the search for a six twenty body. I was pretty stoked when I found the twenty fifth scale model and then my heartbreak when I found out it’s too small. Cue in me watching 24Yep and seeing his Hyghtrc six twenty bodies. I was on cloud nine till I found out they are unobtanium. I have searched and searched and I can’t find one anywhere. Does anyone have any idea how I could get my hands on one? I would love to pay Hyght for one if any can find him. Thanks for your time.

No help here sorry, but fellow Datsun person with a 1:1 '72 510 project in the garage.
Would love to find a 1:10 521 or a 320 body would be awesome as well.

Which scx24 did you start with? I believe they have a few different wheelbases. I have a C10 and a deadbolt and they are a few mm different.
I couldn't tell you what they are though.
If the 1/25 model is close you might be able to mix and match links and driveshaft parts to get it to fit.

The SCX24. The original Deadbolt has a wheelbase of 133.5 mm. The Lexus is 127 mm. The Jeep Wrangler JLU, Bronco, and Base Camp are 132 mm and the Gladiator comes in at 155 mm. Not sure if there's more than these.
It’s easy to make your own links for the scx24 , Injora link balls , M2 all threaded rod and stainless capillary tube to fit over the M2 threaded rod .

Hyght rc seem to be on both Instagram and Facebook. I have neither, but a simple Google search gives me that much info.

Twenty four Yep says Hyght has disappeared and doesn’t check any of his socials so you have to find someone in the know. Yep says buying from Hyght’s site is a no go.
I will do silly things for one of these bodies.
Would it be alright if I post WTB in the classifieds and a “has any body seen” in the Paint/Bodies section or is that too much?

i MAY be able to help actually, i know one of the guys that test prints/paints bodies for hyght. same guy painted my hyght 4-runner.
i'll see what i can come up with, i'm assuming you are either looking to buy a body, or buy the file? worst case i may be able to get you a painted body

he got back to me, he's got a bunch of commissions he's doing right now but he said in a few week he'll get back to me and then can "possibly do something for you"
so its a shot, and honestly probably a pretty good one lol
