What - The Carolina Off-Road Warrior Challenge
When - Sunday, November 29th 2015
Where - Glendale Shoals Preserve, Spartanburg, SC 29302 (Emma Cudd Road)
Entry/Lunch - $10 Covers both
Driver Check-In - 8:30am - 9:00am, We will be starting @ 9:30am SHARP!

We are looking to host another BIG event! This will be very similar to the "Alaskan Off-Road Warriors" but with the addition of another driving partner.. It will be a two man teamed event, we will be running all three classes (1.5 tires, 1.9 tires, 2.2 tires) on the same course/same lines. With that being said you can team up anyway you want, if you don't have a partner we can find one no problem..

It will be a similar setup to a recon event with 100+ gates and the addition of several "Driver" challenges along the ways. These challenges will be considered as "Bonus points or Bonus time." There will be big prizes for the top 3 teams with the lowest time/penalty=score! We will be using SORRCA for the basic vehicle rules and specs. The course points are TBA closer to event day, it will be very similar to what we have been doing in the past.. Judges will be there to help along the way but it will truly come down to #driver and #teammate to master the terrain!

*Things to bring*
Tow rope - you and your team mate will be using this more often then you think..
Supplies - extra battery, tools, spare parts would be good to have in a book bag just in case you need a quick fix or etc.
Appropriate clothing - good shoes and pay attention to weather changes.

The Shoals offers some epic terrain to crawl but it does have a tendency to get really green and slick during the cold season.. There will be several sections with water crossings or "clear dirt" as some know of it, so please take precaution to that. We will be around moving water and plenty of nasty rocks so wear appropriate shoes and whatnot. Keep an eye on the weather, we will also post an update as the day gets closer!

Is there anyway we can go by tire height instead of rim size? Like 4.19 and below same as class one regulation, For instance my disco has tomahawks which are only 4.10 which is as small as a lot of 1.5's.

It doesn't matter, SORRCA rules your are class 1, G6 rules you can be either 1.9 class or ST class. I believe that is what Robert is going for.

Original thread shows that all 3 classes of vehicle will be running the same courses so you can team up any way that you want. Looking like another great event at the Shoals!

I will be there!

Holy crap, I might make this one!

I don't have a partner, but I'll find one.
