So I've had alot of ideas rolling around in my head and would like to ask a few questions.

would this chassis/cab do well if the axles were 4linked and a truggy bed put on instead to make this a more capable class 2 rig?

Do you think this chassis would be better suited to keep it as a class 1? instead of trying to make it a class 2?

are the frame rails, rock sliders metal?

Thanks.

It would work well being 4 linked, it just takes a little modification. The leaf springs work well for what they are.

I think this truck would be perfectly fine in either class 1 or class 2.

The chassis frame rails are aluminum and the rock sliders are molded plastic.

I was mainly asking if 4 linking it would allow the rig to be very competative in c2.

I don't see why not. The leaf springs would probably be fine in class two as well. The big things I have noticed for class 2 are good approach angles and a stable rig. Getting some weight in the wheels will make the leaf springs flex a little easier, but other then that the truck is pretty good in its stock form.

I just noticed in all of the firsts builds that no one install the front bumper..why?...is it not good enough or just for scale look ???
...not anyone install a winch on the "ready to install a winch tough armor front bumper" ???

Are you willing to do some drilling/grinding? If yes then you can acheive a 10" wb. Otherwise you'll just have to stick with the 11.5", rc4wd advertises 11.3" wb but it appears to come in right at 11.5" for me.

It may but there are ways to remedy that if it became an issue. I can't tell on mine if it would be too much of an issue considering the driveline angles of some of RC4WD's other vehicles.
