I have a few 1/24 crawlers now and thought I would see what kind of speed I could get to fit this body .

SCX24 chassis and drivetrain , front deadbolt links front and rear , Mofo 030 Buzzsaw , Hot Racing heat sink , 0.5M 32T & 8T Metal Spur Gear, RampCrab Overdrive Differential Gear 2/12T(+30%) , Hobby Plus CR24 tires and wheels , stock SCX24 servo and shocks .

Fast can be fun and I’m impressed with the build .

With all the gear changes I am very impressed with the speed . The mofo buzzsaw is a big speed upgrade. It pulls wheelies , throws dirt ,does donuts and catches air .
Lots of fun .

Been looking at some micro indoor cars for the winter - mini-z ish size but kinda itching for a revamp of a few of the scx24 a with overdrives. You have my gears turning

I am thinking about building another fast one . I think FCX24M axles with ring and pinion gears may get even more speed . But FCX24 axles have opposite rotation , I am thinking this may be changed by swapping axle housing covers . It looks like it can be done in photos anyway.
