Hi guys, this is a build thread for my ultra 4 rig. I found these chassis on someone's Facebook and then began to track down who made them turns out he was all ready a friend of mine. I messaged him asked him the price, it was a little high at $550 but I loved the look of it so much I couldn't resist it. Paid my deposit in June and just collected the chassis from Connecticut last week.

I'm not holding back on this rig it's the second one outside USA and only one in Europe so I cant have a custom cage with cheep bits inside. Hope you enjoy reading the build as much as I've enjoyed looking at it ::drool::

I started to build up the rear end with parts from my donar car (ifs wraith) so it's got vanquish currie axle, supershafty diffs, axial 14/36 hd gears, mips, Bmrc trailing arms, titanium upper links and standard axial shafts.

Bonnet pins are the next to be added for quick access to the battery.

How it sits now. That arse ::drool::

Tidied up the electrics

Esc all mounted up

And then installed them.

Gearbox and motor installed. Tekin pro 4 3300kv and a supershafty ax10 bombproof tranny with 6mm extended outdrives.

Double check your fan on the RX8. I think it is upside-down. Usually the sticker goes down. The blades should be pushing air down on to the heat sink.

looking great! I use the same tranny/motor combo, same color even. It is really nice, smooth and strong. What pinion are you running?
