I have a few 2s 350 and 450mah batteries for my little trucks. The settings on my charger don't go down in .05 amp increments, so I charge a 450mAh battery at 0.4A.

Is this correct? Am I just not fully charging the battery? What happens if I round up to 0.5 amps?

That's slightly less than 1c so you should be fine.
Honestly most modern quality lipos can charge at a higher C rating than labeled, and with micro RCs nearly every USB charger I've seen charges at 1amp which for a 350mah is quite a bit. Anything under 1amp with your hobby charger is better than the USB charger they come with
