Hey-hey! I've been pretty lazy this winter, but then again, that's what winter is for!! But, since the clock just keeps on a-tickin', I suppose I'd better get another event planned.
I'm sure most of you guys and gals are aware that Adam is hosting an event at his place in New Richmond, WI, tomorrow, Jan 30th. Don't miss it, he's got a great course, it's inside, and he's a hell of a host! Make sure to run over his daughter's Dingo if she starts gettin' all Princess-y!! I'd do it myself, but I can't make it tomorrow, dangit!
Be prepared to get your rigs back together quickly after his event, because the next Snowcrawl is the following Sunday, Feb 7th, at 11:00 am.
I'm not sure what the snow cover will be like, it's supposed to be in the 30s the next few days but there are several chances for more in the next 8 days. If it's not deep, and if it's not too cold, I'd like to take a trail run thru the creek behind my house and under the highway toward Locke Park. If you want to participate, you'll want to waterproof your rig's electronics, and wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Bring lots of batteries, too, it may be a several hour trip, dependent on weather, of course.
If any of you guys have ideas on new or replacement obstacles or are willing to help prep the garage for the event, give me a call for the former or just show up a half hour or more early and we'll get 'er done.
I hope to see as many peeps as there were during the Deepfreeze Crawl from last month!!
