Hey guys, has anyone been able to fit a slipper clutch on the CMX transmission? I'm repeatedly finding that the drive shafts are a weak link in the driveline, but that is IMO a symptom of a larger issue. When a tire gets wedged something has to give, and since there is no slipper I'm tearing up drive shafts. Some of the issue is that I'm not very good at judging when enough is enough and to ease up, but I think having a slipper would be a nice safety net.

Will the optional steel drive shafts from the CFX work on the CMX?

Yes, the CMX/CFX can use the same center shafts, you just have to get the correct shaft length for the wheelbase you run. 242 and 252 can use the same 73-96mm shaft front and rear, but the 252 can use the 83-106mm in the rear if you want.

267mm you must use the 73-96mm front and the 83-106 in the rear.
