I need to find a driveshaft that can take a lot of power, handle somewhat large angles and is 70-90mm long compressed/uncompressed.

If you look at post#42 in my build thread you will see the application: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/multi-axle-rigs/594176-jebsters-10x10-hemtt-rollback-hauler.html

That shaft coming off the transmission carries all the power to the driveline of my 10x10 rig. The shaft you see in the pic didn't last. MIP would be my preferred choice but I don't know if the make something this short plus I don't know about the angle.

I'm open to recommendations. Since I only need one cost is not an issue.

SDI shafts are tough and can be shortened to any length you need. Only problem is they're in Spain so you'd need to wait 2-3 weeks for your stuff.

Contact MIP with your length requirements and they will get you hooked up, provided you can work with about 35* working of angle, X Duty. I did this for my Bomber, giving U joint pivot to U joint pivot length. A drawing was sufficient for them to mix and match mine. They were going to update their web page for this very thing, custom lengths and ends. Not sure if that has happened yet.

Great minds think alike. I did send a message to MIP asking if they had a combo that would get me what I need. I think my angles are less than 30deg so that shouldn't be an issue. If they have an option I'll post up.
