Hello. I just performed the Chino suspension mod for my Mounty and love it. It's a little bit more noisy due to the play but gladly welcome the travel. The next bottleneck seems to be the stock shocks. They have a short stroke and mine are leaking already. Any recommendations on longer travel shocks?

After I get the suspension sorted out I would like to tackle the steering. I also noticed a lot of front wheel play. Not sure of the source but I'm hoping some sort of shimming process would address it.

Thanks

The stock shocks are for looks.. As for shocks any 4" shock will work with custom mounts.. I've moved the servo to the front crossmember and that fixed a lot of the play.. The steering knuckles have some play in them and I add a shim in between the outer axle and bearing and that tighten that play up ....
