last june i got the SCX10 Jeep Wrangler G6 Falken whenever it first released. i've had my fun with it and now that the motor is weak and the tires are rotted inside, im going to rebuild it. i know what tires/wheels/motor and stuff i'll be getting but i want to add a winch and 2 speed transmission, too. i'm a sucker for all the little gimmics, oh well. i have lights dirrectly wired to the esc power cables so they're not going to get in the way.

i was wondering if anyone could tell me a good setup for what i want. i like the trigger and wheel setup with the remote and would like to keep that style instead of going with a aircraft style remote, but i guess i could get used to it.

any ideas what products i should buy?

My IMHO about winch.
I had winch with remote module. Then I broke remote control radio unit and went to XR4 with extra channels for winch and other. Looking back I'd rather stayed with simple toggle switch and AX3 2ch radio. Anyway you are always right next to the car when operating winch.
As for winch itself, strong servo is better than 1:10 - 1:8 scale winch. Unless you put it on the bumper so it improves rig exterior.

Have no experience with 2 speed transmission.
