Hello fellow nut jobs.

(my lovely partner thinks I'm a nut job for the amount of money and time I spend on tiny trucks...)

In the midst of building a new truck mainly from parts.

I have

SSD D60 axles with the pro steering kit (for OG scx10) and Panhard mount

SCX10 chassis Rails

various links for steering, panhard, axles and so on

Wraith Transmission with steel gears (has the longer back section for the DIG) - I dont think this would be an issue...

some chinese steelish driveshafts

Vanquish CMS servo mount with the pan hard link mount

what I dont have is a Skid plate!

can I use the SCX10 ii skid? is there any benefit in doing so?

Thanks for you input, ill start posting pics as I get into the build

I believe you have to use the skid for the 3 gear transmission. Not the one for the scx10II kit transmission. The kit skid only has two holes in it for the bigger trans. But the scx10II rtr skid is the same as the og scx trucks should work either way as long as it is for the 3 gear trans.
